Cairo
Begin your adventure in Cairo, where thousands of years of history come alive. Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to an extraordinary collection dedicated to Ancient Egyptian civilization. Walk through grand halls filled with colossal statues, royal artifacts, and immersive displays.
As evening falls, head to the Giza Plateau for the spectacular Sound & Light Show at the foot of the Great Pyramids. The following day brings one of the world’s most recognizable sights: the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. You’ll also have time to explore Cairo’s traditional side, including El Khalili Bazaar, while discovering local crafts such as perfumes, cotton, and papyrus.

Aswan & Philae Temple
In Aswan, you’ll discover the impressive High Dam, an extraordinary feat of engineering that transformed the Nile and created the vast Lake Nasser. Then take a water taxi to Philae Temple, one of Egypt’s most picturesque temple complexes, situated on Aglika Island.
After sightseeing, board your Nile River cruise and begin your journey along one of the world’s most historic waterways.

Abu Simbel
One of the great highlights of the journey is an excursion to Abu Simbel. The two temples of Ramses II are fronted by enormous statues and are among the most impressive monuments remaining from Ancient Egypt. After returning to the Nile, continue sailing toward Kom Ombo and visit its remarkable temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek.
Edfu & Luxor
Your Nile journey continues at Edfu Temple, the largest and best-preserved Pharaonic temple in Egypt. Then sail onward to Luxor and visit Luxor Temple, one of the best-preserved monuments of Ancient Egypt.
Your journey through ancient history continues the next day with the treasures of Luxor’s West Bank. Visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon, and the magnificent Karnak Temple.
Together, these sites offer a remarkable look into the power, beliefs, architecture, and artistry of Ancient Egypt.

Amman, Madaba & Mount Nebo
From Cairo, fly to Amman, Jordan’s capital city. Your Jordanian journey begins with visits to Madaba, famous for its historic mosaic map at St. George’s Church, and Mount Nebo, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Promised Land and reflect on this significant biblical site.
Petra
Few places in the world are as unforgettable as Petra. This ancient Nabataean city is carved directly into dramatic pink and red sandstone cliffs. Once an important crossroads connecting Arabia, Egypt, and Syria-Phoenicia, Petra is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Walk through the famous Siq and arrive at the magnificent Treasury, one of the most iconic archaeological sights on earth. The tour also includes a horse ride in Petra, adding another memorable dimension to the experience.

Wadi Rum
Then journey into the spectacular desert wilderness of Wadi Rum, also known as the Valley of the Moon. This World Heritage Site is famous for its dramatic sandstone mountains, narrow canyons, natural arches, and vast orange-pink desert landscapes.
Explore Wadi Rum aboard open-top jeeps and experience two hours of desert scenery in one of Jordan’s most extraordinary landscapes. For an especially memorable stay, spend the night in a Martian bubble tent under the desert sky.

Amman
End your Jordanian adventure in Amman with a visit to the Amman Citadel.
Perched on Citadel Hill, the site offers panoramic views over the city and layers of history spanning thousands of years. Explore the remains of the Roman Temple of Hercules, a Byzantine church, and the 8th-century Umayyad Palace.
